Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
with Arlena Rhodes, Sallisaw Campus
Prep for the CMA certification exam. $100 exam fee included. Prerequisites: proficient in reading, speaking and understanding English, high school diploma or GED, current CNA card with CNA work experience (6 months at least), proof of TB skin test, social security card, and government photo ID. Phlebotomy
with Renee Logston, Sallisaw Campus
Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards. Prepares you for the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) exam. Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws. Most will be conducted with volunteers during class, but ICTC will also schedule you for 8 to 16 hours of clinical time in area hospital labs and medical facilities. If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility.

Pharmacy Tech

This program provides the foundational knowledge and technical skills necessary to become a certified pharmacy technician. Under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, certified technicians play a critical role in dispensing medications, managing inventory and patients. This program includes classroom instruction and hands-on lab practice to prepare students for a fulfilling career in retail, hospital, or other pharmacy settings.
This class is blended. In-person with instructor at host campus (Muskogee) and/or via Google Meet or Google Classroom from home on your own computer or one we loan you.
If taken from Sallisaw area, you the student, will be required to attend the first evening at the Muskogee ICTC campus. More info will be provided upon registration.

Pharmacy Tech | Blended

Our 123 hour class is a combination of online and in-person learning. The first and last class along with 3 Saturdays will require attendance in person at the Muskogee Campus.
This program is crafted to equip you with the essential knowledge regarding the skills that pharmacy technicians should possess. You will explore the history, terminology, laws, and standards that govern the profession. Furthermore, you will gain insights into how to categorize drugs, perform conversion calculations, distinguish between various types of medications, and get ready for the PTCB certification exam.Required: High school diploma or GED. Pharmacy Tech |Blended

This class will be a combination of virtual and in person. The first class will require attendance in person at the Muskogee Campus. Remaining classes will be through your home campus.
Pharm Techs are in high demand, with many major pharmacy chains now offering signing bonuses of at least $5,000. Learn the theory and basics of pharmacy info systems, drug conversions and more. Prep for the PTCB certification exam. Prerequisites: WorkKeys Assessment scores (Applied Math 4, Graphic Literacy 3 and Workplace Documents 5), high school diploma or GED.
This is a collaboration class between Tahlequah and the other ICTC Campuses, with the instructor being based out of the Muskogee Campus and teaching virtually to other students.
The first and last class sessions are in-person in Muskogee, and there are 3-4 lab sessions to be hosted on the Muskogee Campus.
