Phlebotomy
with Beth Brodie, Muskogee Campus

Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards. Prepares you for the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) exam. Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws. Some will be conducted with volunteers during class, but ICTC will also schedule you for 8 to 24 hours of clinical time in area hospital labs and medical facilities. If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility.
For the AMCA certification exam, ICTC charges a $25 exam proctor fee, which is included. AMCA will charge $109 for the national certification exam, which you will pay directly to AMCA and isn't included in the cost listed here. You will receive study guides, a practice app and more.

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Certification
with April Floyd, Muskogee Campus

In this class you gain the skills necessary to assist doctors, nurses, and other health professionals with a mix of clincal duties and administrative tasks. This class will also prepare you for your CMA certification exam. Prerequisites: proficient in reading, speaking and understanding English, HS diploma or GED, current CNA card with CNA work experience (6 months at least), proof of TB skin test, social security card, and government photo ID. You must be fully paid or have a signed payment plan agreement on file at least 7 days prior to the class start date. Cost includes the $100 exam fee. A $60 non-refundable fee is required, which includes application processing and a criminal background check. Registration is pending the results of your background check. Knife Making 1
with Randy Tanner, Tahlequah Campus

Make a fixed blade, full tang knife with steel bars and resin-impregnated wood handles. You won't use kits or pre-treated blades. Metal forging not included.
Sell your wares created in or outside of class at the Second Annual ICTC Creative Arts Trade Show, which will be at the Muskogee campus, Saturday, April 22, 9am to 2pm. Ask your instructor about participating in your free class booth.
Long Term Care Nurse Aide (LTCNA) Evening Program | Blended
with Brenda Smith, Tahlequah Campus

Prep for the CNA certificaion exam. Learn to provide direct patient care in a long-term care nursing facility. Requirements: 100% attendance, background check, proof of TB skin test, government photo ID and social security card. Exam cost included.

For the theory modules, you can join the instructor face-to-face at the Tahlequah campus or you can join virtually from home or your local campus. If you want to join virtually but don't have a laptop, webcam or reliable Internet connection, let us know. We'll set you up at the campus computer lab closest to you.
All skills days must be attended in person at the Tahlequah campus.
Special Ed Paraprofessional
with Marian Turner, Tahlequah Campus

Prep to assist special education teachers with instructional and non-instructional classroom activities. The $65 Paraprofessional certification exam fee is included. If you are already OSDE Tier 1 certified, please don't register online. Instead, email mike.meigs@ictech.edu to register and we will deduct the exam fee from your cost.
Driving School-Service Prep
with Brent Ryan, Muskogee Campus

The ICTC Driving School is offering a one hour prep drive for individuals about to take the Behind-the-Wheel Driving Test at a Service Oklahoma certified testing center. Call (918)348-7915 and make an appointment!
School Bus Driver Certification
with Kayanna Beaty, Muskogee Campus

This class is a total of 40 hours which includes lecture, skills, and driving time. It begins on Saturday for 8 hours, 8am to 4:30pm which is followed by two weeks Monday through Thursday, 4pm to 9pm. You must take this class or an online training course before taking the pre-trip inspection and driving exams.
Required: valid driver's license, at least 18 years old, no prior felonies in the past 10 years, CDL Class A or B permit with Passenger and School Bus endorsements and a completed DL-18 form from DPS at least 1 week before class starts.
Written exams for the permit and endorsements can be taken at ICTC's Muskogee campus. Those costs are: General Knowledge CDL Permit ($25), Air Brakes ($5), Passenger endorsement ($5), School Bus endorsement ($5).
