CMA-Advanced: Nasogastric/Gastrostomy/Respiratory

Sewing Basics

Perfect for beginners, this class will teach you how to thread your machine, wind a bobbin, and understand the basics of how it all works. Join us to explore the joy of sewing by making either a double pot holder, a pillowcase, an apron, or a pattern of your choice (no zippers).
Required: Sewing machine, scissors, thread, pins, and pin cushion, tape measure, thimble, and fabric of your choice.
Long-Term Care Nurse Aide (LTCNA) - Day

Our 80-hour course offers training in direct care skills that are crucial for working in various settings, such as nursing homes, hospitals, and assisted living facilities. Our competency-based program is tailored to prepare you with the knowledge and skills needed for the CNA certification exam and skills test.Requirements: 100% attendance, background check, proof of TB skin test, government photo ID and social security card. Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Certification
with April Floyd, Muskogee Campus
This Certified Medication Aide class in Oklahoma prepares you to safely administer routine medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You’ll learn proper medication handling, documentation, safety procedures, and state regulations. Designed for healthcare professionals, this training helps you build the skills needed to expand your role in long-term care and support quality patient care. This class will also prepare you for your CMA certification exam. Prerequisites: proficient in reading, speaking and understanding English, HS diploma or GED, current CNA card with CNA work experience (6 months at least), proof of TB skin test, social security card, and government photo ID. You must be fully paid or have a signed payment plan agreement on file at least 7 days prior to the class start date. Cost includes the $100 exam fee. A $60 non-refundable fee is required, which includes application processing and a criminal background check. Registration is pending the results of your background check. Phlebotomy

Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards.
Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws. Most will be conducted with volunteers during class. If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility.
