This class also will offer different organizations that will assist you with coping and time away from your situation. There are so many stages to Dementia which will be touched on in this class. CPR Heartsaver/AED/First Aid

Medication Administration Technician (MAT)

Required for all group homes and residential care employees who administer or monitor medicines.
Special Ed Paraprofessional: Tier I
with Marian Turner, Tahlequah Campus
In this 24 hour class, you will engage in hands-on learning to prepare yourself for assisting students and special education teachers with instructional and non-instructional classroom activities. Upon completion, you will receive your Tier 1 certification. No exam is required.

T-Shirt Quit Making
with Kristene Watson, Tahlequah Campus
Turn your favorite T‑shirts into a cozy memory quilt! This hands‑on class is designed for beginners and requires no sewing machine at home — all major sewing happens during class. Students learn how to stabilize stretchy knit fabric, piece a quilt top, layer and quilt it, and finish with clean binding. By the end of six weeks, you’ll leave with a completed throw‑size T‑shirt quilt and the confidence to make more.
Join our instructor Kristene from the Modern Sewing Studio in Tahlequah as she breaks down the planning and machine usage for making a tshirt quilt.
There will be an additional supply fee to be paid to the Modern Sewing Studio of $50 per student.
Additional class supplies Needed
- 12-25 freshly laundered t-shirts
- A Flat sheet for backing
- 1 roll of the following Iron-on interfacing fabric
The first class session will take place at ICTC Tahlequah (240 Career Tech Way), and the following sessions will take place at the studio located at 15198 Hwy 82, Tahlequah OK 74464.
This class will be six 3-hour sessions long, on Mondays from 11am-2pm and the class dates will be October 5, 19, 26 November 2, 16, 30.
Long-Term Care Nurse Aide (LTCNA) - Evening

Our 80-hour course offers training in direct care skills that are crucial for working in various settings, such as nursing homes, hospitals, and assisted living facilities. Our competency-based program is tailored to prepare you with the knowledge and skills needed for the CNA certification exam and skills test.Requirements: 100% attendance, background check, proof of TB skin test, government photo ID and social security card.
