Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
with Louise Catron, Stilwell Campus
This course prepares students to provide direct patient care in a long-term care nursing facility. This 80-hour course includes instruction in mental health, social needs, hygiene and safety. Students who complete the course are eligible to take the state CNA certification exam. The cost of the exam is included in the course cost. The first 16 hours requires 100% attendance to continue in class. Students are required to wear scrubs (any color or print except red) and closed-toe shoes for the clinical portion of this course. Students who apply for this program must pass a background check, obtain a TB skin test, provide a government-issued photo ID, and social security card.

Computer Literacy with Windows

Learn to maneuver your way around a computer with ease in this introductory course. Learn basic computer terminology and definitions, identify internal and external components of a computer, become comfortable with the keyboard and mouse, learn to navigate the Windows environment, plus basic instruction in word processing, slide presentations and spreadsheets.

Gain the ability to communicate in Spanish with simple statements and expressions. Learn to speak with imperative sentences using common daily expressions, body language, shopping terms or travel terms.
CPR: BLS Healthcare Provider
with Ray Sallee, Stilwell Campus
For healthcare providers, professional rescuers and laypersons. This course includes adult, infant, and child CPR, plus AED training. To obtain your CPR card you must pass both written and performance tests.
