Phlebotomy

Our 8 week training program covers all the essential skills and knowledge needed for a certified Phlebotomy Technician, such as venipuncture, safety measures, and handling biohazards. It prepares you for the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) exam. The skill labs include 40-100 live draws during class or clinical experience.

School Bus Driver Certification

There is a great demand for school bus drivers! Our 40-hour course is a state-approved training program for school bus driving that equips you to complete the CDL B pre-trip inspections and driving test, as mandated by the state.
Required: Valid driver's license, at least 18 years old, no prior felonies in the past 10 years, CDL Class A with Passenger and School Bus endorsements or Class B permit with air brakes, general knowledge, passenger and school bus endorsement and a completed 300 DLS form from DPS at least 1 week before class starts.

NEW! Stained Glass: From Pieces to Panels
with Shelly Matthews, Muskogee Campus
Come along and discover the traditional lead came method used by Louis Comfort Tiffany to create breathtaking stained glass artworks. This hands-on class is available for all to join. Attendees will have the chance to make their very own stained glass panel while gaining knowledge in preparation, glass cutting, soldering, and the art of putting together and fastening glass pieces with lead channels.
Required: 3-5 pieces of different colored glass that can be purchased at Hobby Lobby

Are you feeling anxious about a flickering light switch or a dead outlet? That’s totally normal, but you don’t have to live with it. In this class, you’ll learn how to safely and confidently deal with common electrical problems around the house. Our instructor will focus on the most important thing: safety first! After that, he’ll go over the basics like voltage, current, resistance, and power, plus how to use YouTube videos to save money on repairs you can do yourself. Remember, safety is key!
Creative Art thru Abstract Canvas-Intro

Life gives us plenty of "blank canvases" and it's our job to add some art to them! This class is for the beginner or the emerging artist. Students will create a number of canvases and may participate in the Final Class Project Art Show. This class is for those whom may have never painted, or are intimidated by a blank canvas.
