Beekeeping

Learn the basics of Beekeeping. Explore the physiology of the bee, the nature and habits of the bee and the culture of beekeeping. Learn about the equipment construction and how to have fun with a vastly rewarding hobby or business.
Help out with our beekeeping demonstration hive and info booth or come sell any honey or other creative wares at the Second Annual ICTC Creative Arts Trade Show, which will be at the Muskogee campus, Saturday, April 22, 9am to 2pm. Ask your instructor how to participate.
Phlebotomy
with Jolene Paden, Tahlequah Campus
Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards. Prepares you for the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) exam.
Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws. Most will be conducted with volunteers during class, but ICTC will also schedule you for 8 to 16 hours of clinical time in area hospital labs and medical facilities. If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility.
For the AMCA certification exam, ICTC charges a $25 exam proctor fee, which is included. AMCA will charge $109 for the national certification exam, which you will pay directly to AMCA and isn't included in the cost listed here. You will receive study guides, a practice app and more.
Bread Baking 101

Designed for beginners and those seeking to improve their bread-making skills, this class focuses on the fundamentals of bread baking, from understanding ingredients and techniques to achieving consistent results.
CMA Update-OKSDH Approved CEUs

School Bus Driver Certification
with Nichole Barnett, Muskogee Campus
The 40 hour course begins this weekend.

Saturday, March 28 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Monday – Thursday, March 30 – April 2 5:00 PM–9:00 PM each evening
Saturday, April 4 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Monday & Tuesday, April 6–7 5:00 PM–9:00 PM each evening
This schedule provides the full 40 hours required to complete the course. You must complete this in-person training before taking the CDL pre-trip inspection and driving exams.
Valid driver’s license
At least 18 years old
No felony convictions in the past 10 years
CDL Class A or B permit with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) and Air Break endorsements
Completed DL-18 form from DPS submitted at least one week before class begins

Stained Glass: Socials-Suncatchers

Express yourself in art and conversation! In this hands-on class, create a small suncatcher while enjoying fun, laughter, and the joy of seeing a beautiful product in the end.
Required: Bring two different colored pieces of glass which can be purchased at Hobby Lobby in the stained glass section.

CPR for Healthcare Providers-American Heart Association
