Interested in learning more about sewing? Recently receive a sewing machine and don't know what to do with it? This class is for YOU!
Class Materials to Bring
- If you have one, a sewing machine including bobbin that fits your machine
- 1/2 to 1 yard of fabric
- one spool of thread
- hand sewing needle
- Scissors
- anything you'd like to sew a button onto

We're excited to partner with a great instructor named Carly, who learned to sew as a kid at 4H camp and still teach every summer. I specialize in apparel - including swimsuits and jeans - but also do a lot of quilting and upcycling. I would bring a fresh and energetic perspective to students of all ages! Sewing Basics

You will learn from the simplest of things such as threading a needle, basic sticthes, fabric cutting, replacing zippers, hemming and more. You will also learn to create a few simple projects such as an apron while gaining an understanding of your sewing machine.

Welding for Home & Farm 1

Learn the basics of welding for your home or farm needs. Basic stick welding, welding a bead, depending on student background, possibly mig welding andl/or cutting torch. It will be from 6 p.m. -9 p.m. The class is a total of 18 hours. Supplies you will need to bring with are a welding hood and welding gloves. It is encouraged that you wear long sleeves preferably welding shirts.
NEW! Intro to Creative Writing
with Madison Jones, Tahlequah Campus
Intro to Creative Writing is a class meant to explore creativity and the basics of crafting a story. We will cover some main elements of a narrative–characters, setting, tone, plot, and genre–by examining fantastic stories across different mediums and looking at the great advice writers have shared themselves. Writing exercises throughout the class will aim to stir up creativity while building writing fluency and confidence. This course is great for beginning writers, but is open to anyone looking to revisit the basics.
Bread Baking 101

Aimed at newcomers and individuals looking to enhance their bread-making abilities, this course emphasizes the basics of bread baking, covering everything from ingredient comprehension and techniques to attaining reliable outcomes.
