Dental Assistant | Blended

Learn head/neck anatomy dental terms, radiology placement of X-Ray film, charting, instrumentation, chairside assisting and more.
To request an application for the Dental Assistant program, email michael.payne@ictech.edu for an application. This class meets 8 hours a week and 4 hours 1 Saturday a month and runs for 49 weeks on the calendar as we included dates school is closed for holidays.
For the theory modules, you can join the instructor face-to-face at the Tahlequah campus or you can join virtually from home, let us know. We'll set you up at a campus computer lab.
All skills days must be attended in person at the Tahlequah campus.
Intro to Computers
with Edward King, Muskogee Campus
In this class, our Instructor tailors the experience to suit your current level. You will acquire fundamental computer skills, including logging on and shutting down, creating an email account, navigating the taskbar, saving your work, and storying files. nbsp;

This course is designed for both beginners and enthusiasts who aspire to progress beyond simple snapshots to produce captivating, high-quality photoagraphs. You will learn core principles of photgraphy to enhance the way you see, no matter your using a smartphone or upscale camera. nbsp;
Phlebotomy
with Beth Brodie, Muskogee Campus
Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards. Prepares you for the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) exam. Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws. ICTC will also schedule you for 8 to 16 hours of clinical time in area hospital labs and medical facilities. If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also be approved to complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility.
For the AMCA certification exam, ICTC charges a $25 exam proctor fee, which is included. AMCA will charge $109 for the national certification exam, which you will pay directly to AMCA and isn't included in the cost listed here. You will receive study guides, a practice app and more.

This course is tailored for novices, emphazing techniques of utilizing tools with buttercream for cake decoration. You will acquire skills in filling your piping bag, maintaning the correct angle while holding the piping bag, and applying the right amount of pressure with various piping tips. Upon finishing the course, you will be capable of decorating a basic cake with border, drop flowers with leaves, and basic writing.
Conversational Spanish

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED/AHA
