Our 80 hour class provides instruction in direct care skills essential for employment in diverse environments, including nursing homes, hospitals, and assisted living facilites. Our competency -based is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills for both the CNA certification exam and skills test. This class teaches you to use ChatGPT, an AI chatbot. You will learn how to use it for tasks like writing professional emails, generating creative content, coding, and summarizing documents to boost efficiency in both personal and professional life.

Improve health and mental acuity through the fundamental principles of alignment and breathing in a flow of yoga postures. Bring your own yoga mat.

In this class you gain the skills necessary to assist doctors, nurses, and other health professionals with a mix of clinical duties and administrative tasks. This class will also prepare you for your CMA certification exam. Prerequisites: proficient in reading, speaking and understanding English, HS diploma or GED, current CNA card with CNA work experience (6 months at least), proof of TB skin test, social security card, and government photo ID. You must be fully paid or have a signed payment plan agreement on file at least 7 days prior to the class start date. Cost includes the $100 exam fee. A $60 non-refundable fee is required, which includes application processing and a criminal background check. Registration is pending the results of your background check. In this class, the objective is to familiarize you with the fundamental components of Microsoft Excel.  You will acquire skills in data entry navigation, basic formatting, and several key formulas such as SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, along with the creation of simple charts.
