Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

Prep for the CMA certification exam. $100 exam fee included. Prerequisites: proficient in reading, speaking and understanding English, HS diploma or GED, current CNA card with CNA work experience (6 months at least), proof of TB skin test, social security card, and government photo ID. You must be fully paid or have a signed payment plan agreement on file at least 7 days prior to the class start date. This class requires a $60 non-refundable fee, which includes application processing and a criminal background check. Registration is pending the results of your background check. Long-Term Care Nurse Aide (LTCNA)-Evening|Blended

Prep for the CNA certificaion exam. Learn to provide direct patient care in a long-term care nursing facility. Requirements: 100% attendance, background check, proof of TB skin test, government photo ID and social security card. Skills and written exam costs are included. Phlebotomy
with Jolene Paden, Tahlequah Campus

Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards. Prepares you for the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) exam.
Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws. Most will be conducted with volunteers during class, but ICTC will also schedule you for 8 to 16 hours of clinical time in area hospital labs and medical facilities. If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility.
For the AMCA certification exam, ICTC charges a $25 exam proctor fee, which is included. AMCA will charge $109 for the national certification exam, which you will pay directly to AMCA and isn't included in the cost listed here. You will receive study guides, a practice app and more.

An application must be filled out for this class, these applications are available at the ICTC campus in the ACD Department or email belinda.hopkins@ictech.edu. You must turn in the application along with all the supporting documents : copy of current driver's license or government ID, we have to verify your SS # from the card itself, a TB Skin test-negative result, immunization record showing 2 Hep B, 2 Varicella, 2 MMR is required and high school diploma/GED/college transcript. We cannot accept any applications without all the supporting documents. No email applications will be accepted. Class is 252 hours total

Stained Glass: Intro to Copper Foil
with Shelley Brandon, Muskogee Campus

Discover the ancient art of stained glass design and construction in this beginner-friendly class. Begin your experience in stained glass by choosing your own glass for a large fleur-de-lies design. You will learn, cutting, grinding and shaping, foiling and saudering. No experience is required. You will be asked to bring your own purchased glass to the first class. Information will be sent by the instructor prior to the first class.
