Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Fast Track (day class)

Students will NOT be officially enrolled in class until they appear in person to complete the forms necessary for enrollment.
This course prepares students to provide direct patient care in a long-term care nursing facility. This 80-hour course includes instruction in mental health, social needs, hygiene and safety. Students who complete the course are eligible to take the state CNA certification exam. The cost of the exam is included in the course cost.
Students are required to wear scrubs (any color or print except red) and closed-toe shoes for the clinical portion of this course.
Students who apply for this program must pass a background check, obtain a TB skin test, provide a government-issued photo ID, and social security card.
Students will NOT be accepted if they have misdemeanor or felony offenses (deferred sentences included) in these areas:

EMT-Emergency Medical Technician

NEW REQUIREMENTS: Current immunization record prior to class start date. On this document you MUST have HepB, MMR, DPT (less than 10 years old), and TB (less than 1 year old).
Be a part of an Emergency Medical team. The Emergency Medical Technician is the second level of the EMS program. Learn life-saving techniques and first responder CPR. The student will study and practice many techniques such as control of bleeding and fractures, heart attack, poisoning, seizures, automobile accident procedures, respiratory emergencies, legalities, and hazardous material handling.
Students must come into the ACD office at the Muskogee Campus, Building A, to complete registration prerequisites.
Real Estate Home Inspection
with Kendall Fulbright, Muskogee Campus
This 90-hour Real Estate Home Inspection class is required for state examination to obtain a Home Real Estate Inspector license. Classes will meet in a classroom setting Mondays and Tuesdays. Students will inspect a different home one Saturday each month for hands-on training.
Applicants for home inspector license examination must be 18 years of age or older and be of good moral character. Every application must be accompanied by evidence of successful completion of ninety (90) credit hours of home inspection training that is approved pursuant to OAC 158:70-9-3.
The obtain an Oklahoma Home Inspector license, the student must complete a 90-hour course and complete the Construction Industry Board Application for Exam. The cost of the CIB application and fees is $280.00.
Once the student's application is approved, the student must schedule the National Home Inspector Examination through PSI. An exam fee of $200.00 must be paid directly to PSI. For more information about testing, you may call PSI at (800) 733-9267 or visit www.psiexams.com.
