This class is designed for the hands-on learner.  Novice and experienced beekeepers are welcome to enroll.  Come explore bee habits, bee culture, equipment needs, hive maintenance and honey harvesting.

Class will be held Nov. 1, 8, 15 and due to Thanksgiving break there will be no class on Nov. 22nd, but will resume Nov. 29th, and end on Dec 6th.

Discover the art of crafting beautiful quilts.  We have split the class into 3 six hour sessions.  Be sure to sign-up for all three.  Or come check out the first class to see if quilt making is for you.  During this hands-on class you will learn the fundamental skills of quilt making.  You will learn tips on selecting fabric,  proper use of the rotary cutter, mat and ruler, and learn how to use the tools to cut accurately.  You will gain helpful tips on fabric selection, reading the pattern, stitching, and strip piecing.  You will also learn the skill of how to place quilt blocks together, the method of sandwiching the top and back batting and how to bind the quilt.  

Required:  All students must bring their own sewing machine.   

You will be making a Waterfall or Log Cabin Quilt (type that into Google and see what it looks like).  

Here is a list of items you will want to bring with you to the class:  scissors, pins, rotary cutter, quilt ruler(if you have one), and 3-6 yards of companion color fabrics.
