Advanced CMA: Insulin Admin/Glucose Monitoring

Counts as the required 8 hours continuing education required by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. Prerequisite: Current CMA license.
Yoga - A Namastate of Mind

Improve health and mental acuity through the fundamental principles of alignment and breathing in a flow of yoga postures. Yoga mat needed. This will be a short class through the holidays of 8 hours.

Learn the basic of care care. Change your oil, fix a flat tire, charge a dead battery & more. Ideal for those who aren't comfortable popping the hood or who just want to be able to talk to a mechanic when the car makes that funny noise.
Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)

Learn basic life support and emergency care, first responder legal aspects, human body/lifting and moving the patient, airway, patient assessment, medical and trauma emergencies & EMS operation. Take the state/ national EMR license test. Test fee included. You must come in to our ACD Office to make application and enroll for this class.
Long-Term Care Nurse Aide (CNA) Evening
with Muskogee Campus
Prep for the CNA certificaion exam. Learn to provide direct patient care in a long-term care nursing facility. Covers mental health, social needs, hygiene and safety. Requirements: 100% attendance, wear scrubs (any color or print except red) and closed-toe shoes, background check, proof of TB skin test, government photo ID, and social security card.
