School Bus Driver Certification

Location:ICTC Muskogee Campus – Building C 

Saturday, August 29: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Monday–Thursday, August 31–September 3: 5:00 PM–10:00 PM

Tuesday–Thursday, September 8–10: 5:30 PM–9:30 PM

This course provides the required 40 hours of training for prospective school bus drivers. Successful completion of this in-person course is required before taking the CDL Pre-Trip Inspection and CDL Skills/Driving Exams.

Please ensure you meet the following requirements before class:

Valid driver's license

Must be at least 18 years of age

No felony convictions within the past 10 years

Class B CDL Permit with the following endorsements:General Knowledge Air Brakes Passenger & School Bus

Please Bring: All documentation that was required during the enrollment process

Lunch and drinks or a refillable water bottle

Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor training in the summer heat

This course is designed for newbies, focusing on the use of cake decorating tools with buttercream icing. You'll discover how to fill your piping bag, maintain the right angle while you're holding it, and how to apply the right pressure with different piping tips. By the time you finish the course, you'll have the ability to decorate a basic cake with borders, create drop flowers with leaves, and do some simple writing.
