Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

It meets requirements for DHS chilcare licensing.
Learn first aid basics including medical, injury, poison, and environmental emergencies, preventing illnesses and injuries and controlling bleeding & bandaging. Covers topics like using a tourniquet, shock, internal bleeding, burns and electrical injuries, allergic reactions, breathing problems & dehydration, diabetes & low blood sugar, heat-and cold-related emergencies, drowning, amputations, bites and stings, broken bones and sprains. Also covers splinters, nose bleeds, fainting, seizures, and injuries to the head, eyes, neck, spine, mouth, and teeth.
Phase IV Armed Security Guard

Long-Term Care Nurse Aide (LTCNA) - Day

Guitar 101

Joesf has been teaching guitar for nearly 30 years. His teaching style aims to meet guitar enthusiasts where they are. He has written a few books, "Scales, Chords, and Arpessios: A Users Guide for Guitarists" and "Guitar Christmas: Simple Arrangments for Solo Guitar". His aim is that each student will realize that they can be a guitar player. This course serves as an introduction to the instrument and will provide students with an instant access to making music on the guitar. Focus points will include open forum discussion, proper techniques for holding, strumming and more. His favorite saying is-correction, direction, and accountability. Come join the fun and learn to create music.
Welding for Home & Farm 1

Join Mr. Mark in this hands-on 18 hour class. The class begins on a Monday with a 2 hour introduction and finishes with two full Saturdays. It is designed to cover basic welding skills necessary for repairing and fabricating metal items around the home and farm. The class will start with safety first and includes welding processes like stick, MIG, ARC welding and cutting.
