CPR for Healthcare Providers-American Heart Association

Herbs: Growing & Usage

Learn a brief history of herbal uses for medical, culinary and aesthetic purposes. Plant your own herbs in class and create an infused vinegar.
Make a Short, Short Movie

Start with a script. Work your way through casting, costuming, makeup, filming and post production. A movie premiere for friends and family will be held at the end of class.
Special Ed Paraprofessional

Prep to assist special education teachers with instructional and non-instructional classroom activities. The $65 Paraprofessional certification exam fee is included. If you are already OSDE Tier 1 certified, please don't register online. Instead, email diana.mueller@ictech.edu to register and we will deduct the exam fee from your cost.
Long-Term Care Nurse Aide (CNA) Fast Track - Day
with Nancy Withrow, Muskogee Campus

Prep for the CNA certificaion exam. Learn to provide direct patient care in a long-term care nursing facility. Requirements: 100% attendance, background check, proof of TB skin test, government photo ID and social security card. You must take the WorkKeys assessment and receive at least a 3 on Workplace Documents and on Graphic Literacy. Exam cost included. Phlebotomy
with Lydia English, Muskogee Campus
Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards. Prepares you for the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) exam. Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws. Most will be conducted with volunteers during class, but ICTC will also schedule you for 8 to 16 hours of clinical time in area hospital labs and medical facilities. If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility.
For the AMCA certification exam, ICTC charges a $25 exam proctor fee, which is included. AMCA will charge $109 for the national certification exam, which you will pay directly to AMCA and isn't included in the cost listed here. You will receive study guides, a practice app and more.
