Phlebotomy

Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards. Prepares you for the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) exam.
Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws. Most will be conducted with volunteers during class, but ICTC will also schedule you for 8 to 16 hours of clinical time in area hospital labs and medical facilities. If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility.
For the AMCA certification exam, ICTC charges a $25 exam proctor fee, which is included. AMCA will charge $109 for the national certification exam, which you will pay directly to AMCA and isn't included in the cost listed here. You will receive study guides, a practice app and more.

NEW! OSHA 10 Construction
with James Stewart, Muskogee Campus
This 10-hour program encompasses a wide range of important health and safety topics relevant to the workplace, designed to familiarize you with OSHA construction standards. The subjects covered include the Construction Focus Four, which identifies common hazards at the worksite, tool operation, and additional related topics.
Medication Administration Tech (MAT)
with April Floyd, Muskogee Campus
The MAT certification is aimed at people looking for fast, specialized training without the need to become a nursing assistant. It's specifically for caregivers in certain settings, such as group homes or those involved in developmental disability services (DDS). This certification is mandatory for anyone working in group homes and residential care who is responsible for administering or overseeing medication.
