Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

Learn first aid basics including medical, injury, poison, and environmental emergencies, preventing illnesses and injuries and controlling bleeding & bandaging. Covers topics like using a tourniquet, shock, internal bleeding, burns and electrical injuries, allergic reactions, breathing problems & dehydration, diabetes & low blood sugar, heat-and cold-related emergencies, drowning, amputations, bites and stings, broken bones and sprains. Also covers splinters, nose bleeds, fainting, seizures, and injuries to the head, eyes, neck, spine, mouth, and teeth.

Phlebotomy

Knife Making 2

Sharpen those knife-making skills. Learn basic equipment repair and maintenance. This class also covers how to market creations at trade shows and through social media.
Spring Time Canning Tips/Prep
with Tina Rose, Stilwell Campus
Bring your fruits/vegetables and learn how to prepare them for the canning process. The instructor will teach you how to prepare your fare for the canning process. You'll be sent a list of the things you'll need to bring before attending class.
CMA Update-CEUs
with Brenda Smith, Tahlequah Campus
Earn 8 hours of OSDH-approved continuing education. Renewal application and attendance certificate provided. Prequisites: Current CNA and CMA licenses. After you register, please email a copy of your current CNA and CMA licenses to mike.meigs@ictech.edu at least 3 days before the class starts. He will let you know what else might be needed.
CMA-Advanced: Insulin Admin/Glucose Monitoring
with April Floyd, Muskogee Campus
Covers diabetes care, endocrine system and more. $40 exam fee included. There is an application that will need to filled out for this class that can picked up at ICTC or emailed.
Prerequisite: Current CMA license.
School Bus Driver Certification
with Dart Drummond, Stilwell Campus
Includes 36 hours of class and drive time. You must take this class or the online training before taking the pre-trip inspection and driving exams.
Please register for the class with first and last legal name as it appears on your Drivers License. This is very important in scheduling your test.
Required: valid driver's license, at least 18 years old, no prior felonies in the past 10 years, CDL Class A or B permit with Passenger and School Bus endorsements and a completed DL-18 form from DPS before enrollment.
This class will be Monday through Thursday 5 to 10 pm, then Saturday 7 am to 5 pm.
