Prerequisites: proficient in reading, speaking and understanding English, high school diploma or GED, current CNA card with CNA work experience (6 months at least), proof of TB skin test, social security card, and government photo ID. Where do you start? Medicare can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. You’ll break down the basics of Medicare, including Parts A, B, C, and D, as well as Medigap coverage, so you can better understand your options and make informed decisions.

This class offers a clear, easy-to-understand introduction to the Social Security system. You’ll explore its history, structure, and how it works, along with key topics like eligibility, benefits, and the application process. By the end, you’ll have the foundational knowledge needed to better navigate and understand your Social Security options.

The American Heart Association’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.
