Start the OSDH/EMS-approved Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Program. Covers CPR, control of bleeding and fractures, heart attack, chock and more. Clinical hours conducted in surgical departments, ICUs, ERs and EMS units. Learn head/neck anatomy dental terms, radiology placement of X-Ray film, charting, instrumentation, chairside assisting and more. New to our training this semester is an optional Radiation Safety and Protection certification. Several of our Dental office partners want their employees to have this certification. This option involves three online training modules, quizzes after each module, and then a final exam, which you will take at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. The training and exam cost $150, but it is not included in the total cost of the program, so if you choose to add this option, you will pay the $150 separately.

To request an application for the Dental Assistant program, email Candice.Jefferson@ictech.edu for an application. This class meets 8 hours a week and 1 Saturday a month and runs for 49 weeks on the calendar as we included dates school is closed for holidays.

For the theory modules, you can join the instructor face-to-face at the Tahlequah campus or you can join virtually from home, let us know. We'll set you up at a campus computer lab. 

All skills days must be attended in person at the Tahlequah campus.

Almost 8% of the world's population speak Spanish, which includes some amazing travel destinations. Learn to communicate in Spanish with simple statements, common expressions and body language. Learn shopping and travel terms.

Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards. Prepares you for the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) exam.

Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws. Most will be conducted with volunteers during class, but ICTC will also schedule you for 8 to 16 hours of clinical time in area hospital labs and medical facilities. If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility.

For the AMCA certification exam, ICTC charges a $25 exam proctor fee, which is included. AMCA will charge $109 for the national certification exam, which you will pay directly to AMCA and isn't included in the cost listed here. You will receive study guides, a practice app and more.

Learn the art of bellydance for fun and fitness. Bellydance provides a whole body workout, no matter your level of athletic ability. Beginners welcome. Last semester, these classes were super popular and filled quickly. Register today!

Stamp, tool, and stitch leather. All skill levels welcome. Additional supply fees may apply, but these will either be discussed during the first class session, or you will be emailed a list. All ICTC campuses will be closed the week of March 13 for Spring Break so this class will not meet that week.

Sell your wares created in or outside of class at the Second Annual ICTC Creative Arts Trade Show, which will be at the Muskogee campus, Saturday, April 22, 9am to 2pm. Ask your instructor about participating in your free class booth.
