EMT - Emergency Medical Tech (Intro)

Start the OSDH/EMS-approved Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Program. Covers CPR, control of bleeding and fractures, heart attack, chock and more. Clinical hours conducted in surgical departments, ICUs, ERs and EMS units. This is a 264-hour training and requires 90% attendance. Stained Glass Advanced-CAME Binding Method
with Rhonda Cravens, Tahlequah Campus
Focus on the CAME binding method and continue honing advance techniques of cutting, grinding and shaping glass. Use lead solder on your finished piece. Class size is limited, so register now!
Additional supplies will be required. These will either be discussed with you during the first session or a list will be emailed to you.
All ICTC campuses will be closed for Spring Break the week of March 13, so this class will not meet that week.
Sell your wares created in or outside of class at the Second Annual ICTC Creative Arts Trade Show, which will be at the Muskogee campus, Saturday, April 22, 9am to 2pm. Ask your instructor about participating in your free class booth.
Phlebotomy

Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards. Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws and will be conducted with volunteers during class, If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility. Long Term Care Nurse Aide (LTCNA) Evening Program | Blended
with Brenda Smith, Tahlequah Campus
Prep for the CNA certificaion exam. Learn to provide direct patient care in a long-term care nursing facility. Requirements: 100% attendance, background check, proof of TB skin test, government photo ID and social security card. Exam cost included.

For the theory modules, you can join the instructor face-to-face at the Tahlequah campus or you can join virtually from home or your local campus. If you want to join virtually but don't have a laptop, webcam or reliable Internet connection, let us know. We'll set you up at the campus computer lab closest to you.
All skills days must be attended in person at the Tahlequah campus.
Will run
Phlebotomy
with Jolene Paden, Tahlequah Campus
Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards. Prepares you for the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) exam.
Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws. Most will be conducted with volunteers during class, but ICTC will also schedule you for 8 to 16 hours of clinical time in area hospital labs and medical facilities. If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility.
For the AMCA certification exam, ICTC charges a $25 exam proctor fee, which is included. AMCA will charge $109 for the national certification exam, which you will pay directly to AMCA and isn't included in the cost listed here. You will receive study guides, a practice app and more.

Leather Craft

Dog Obedience Training
with Toni Bailey, Tahlequah Campus
Teach your dog to be a more valuable member of the family with the right techniques and strategies. Required: proof of current vaccinations. Dogs must be crated in the classroom when not running drills.
