This practical class covers the basics of Medicare. 

Lynn Roach is an Oklahoma-based Medicare educator, advocate, and insurance professional dedicated to helping seniors navigate Medicare and healthcare choices. Lynn works closely with seniors, caregivers, hospitals, case managers, and community organizations to ensure people have access to the information and resources they need to make informed healthcare decisions.

In April, Lynn traveled to Washington, D.C. to meet with lawmakers and policy leaders to advocate for improvements to Medicare and healthcare access.The visit provided an opportunity to discuss real-world issues experienced by Oklahoma seniors and to encourage policies that improve healthcare choices, simplify Medicare enrollment, and protect access to quality care."Advocating for seniors isn't just my profession—it's my passion. Every conversation in Washington was an opportunity to give a voice to the people we serve every day."

This class will go over the basics, and be able to start the conversation to make sure people are well informed. 

Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards.

Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws. Most will be conducted with volunteers during class. If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility.

Learn head/neck anatomy dental terms, radiology placement of X-Ray film, charting, instrumentation, chairside assisting and more.  

To request an application for the Dental Assistant program, email michael.payne@ictech.edu for an application. This class meets 8 hours a week and 4 hours 1 Saturday a month and runs for 49 weeks on the calendar as we included dates school is closed for holidays.

For the theory modules, you can join the instructor face-to-face at the Tahlequah campus or you can join virtually from home, let us know. We'll set you up at a campus computer lab. 

All skills days must be attended in person at the Tahlequah campus.

Renew your annual MAT license. Covers legal and ethical issues, medication administration, and how to avoid errors.

Required for all group homes and residential care employees who administer or monitor medicines.

This link is meant to be a placeholder for our January 2027 Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Course. Specific dates will be finalized soon, but this is a good way to get the process rolling to make sure you're adequately prepared for that start date.

In this class you gain the skills necessary to assist doctors, nurses, and other health professionals with a mix of clinical duties and administrative tasks. This class will also prepare you for your CMA certification exam. Prerequisites: proficient in reading, speaking and understanding English, HS diploma or GED, current CNA card with CNA work experience (6 months at least), proof of TB skin test, social security card, and government photo ID. You must be fully paid or have a signed payment plan agreement on file at least 7 days prior to the class start date. Cost includes the $100 exam fee. A $60 non-refundable fee is required, which includes application processing and a criminal background check. Registration is pending the results of your background check. Online registration is merely a "placeholder" there is an additional application for this program. All skills days must be attended in person at the Tahlequah campus.
