Phlebotomy

Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards. Prepares you for the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) exam.
Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws. Most will be conducted with volunteers during class, but ICTC will also schedule you for 8 to 16 hours of clinical time in area hospital labs and medical facilities. If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility.
For the AMCA certification exam, ICTC charges a $25 exam proctor fee, which is included. AMCA will charge $109 for the national certification exam, which you will pay directly to AMCA and isn't included in the cost listed here. You will receive study guides, a practice app and more.

CMA-Advanced: Insulin Admin/Glucose Monitoring
with Brenda Smith, Tahlequah Campus

Covers diabetes care including insulin administration, endocrine system, testing blood glucose levels and more. $40 exam fee included. Prerequisite: Current CMA license.

CMA Update-CEUs
with Brenda Smith, Tahlequah Campus

Earn 8 hours of OSDH-approved continuing education. Renewal application and attendance certificate provided. Prequisites: Current CNA and CMA licenses. After you register, please email a copy of your current CNA and CMA licenses to mike.meigs@ictech.edu at least 3 days before the class starts. He will let you know what else might be needed.
Medication Administration Technician (MAT)
with Brenda Smith, Tahlequah Campus

Required for all group homes and residential care employees who administer or monitor medicines.
