Woodturning Basics - Bowl Turning gives you the opportunity to explore the basic aspects and understanding of preparing wood from a raw source to creating a functional bowl. Safety, as well as learning the parts of a lathe is essential to begin your own projects. This course will cover the correct methods of using different woodturning tools to create bowls and will also cover aspects of spindle turning. You will have the opportunity to turn two projects in this short course that will give you the skills to needed begin woodturning on your own.

Read patterns, choose the right sewing tool for the garment at hand, sew on buttons, replace zippers, hem and alter garments, and make pleats and ruffles--ultimately creating one garment and a few gifts along the way.

Plan, light, direct, act, film and edit a short movie using real-world cinematic work flow. Make documenataries or use film skills for work or home business marketing. All work will be done within scheduled class meetings. Script provided.
