Quilt Making

Discover the art of crafting beautiful quilts. This is the third of the series of 3 classes. If you are just looking to sign up, this is the third class in a series of 3, so please give us a call before registering. During this hands-on class you will learn the fundamental skills of quilt making. You will learn tips on selecting fabric, proper use of the rotary cutter, mat and ruler, and learn how to use the tools to cut accurately. You will gain helpful tips on fabric selection, reading the pattern, stitching, and strip piecing. You will also learn the skill of how to place quilt blocks together, the method of sandwiching the top and back batting and how to bind the quilt.
Required: All students must bring their own sewing machine. The instructor will contact you prior to the start of class to let you know what else you will need for class.
Stained Glass: Suncatchers

In this hands-on class, learn the fundamental techniques of stained glass, including cutting, shaping, foiling, & soldering to assemble a suncatcher.
Required: Bring two different colored pieces of glass which can be purchased at Hobby Lobby in the stained glass section.
