Taste of New Orleans: Creole Cooking

You might be asking yourself, what exactly is Creole cooking, basically it is a style of cooking that originated in Louisiana and is known for its use of fresh seafood, rich sauces, and spicy seasonings. It has been  influenced by a variety of cultures, including French, Spanish, West African, Native American, and Southern US cuisine. In this hands-on class with Ms. LaDonna you will learn to prepare shrimp jambalaya, crawfish etouffee, and dirty rice.  After completing this day with Ms. La Donna enjoy taking some of this yummy food home to your family to show them what you learned.  Bring your own to go containers.
