Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards. Prepares you for the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) exam. Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws.  ICTC will also schedule you for 8 to 16 hours of clinical time in area hospital labs and medical facilities. If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also be approved to complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility.

For the AMCA certification exam, ICTC charges a $25 exam proctor fee, which is included. AMCA will charge $109 for the national certification exam, which you will pay directly to AMCA and isn't included in the cost listed here. You will receive study guides, a practice app and more.

Our class is designed to cover the administration of medications through nasogastric and gastrostomy tubes, as well as through oral inhalers/nebulizers. It includes both skills lab training and practical experience. In this class you gain the skills necessary to assist doctors, nurses, and other health professionals with a mix of clinical duties and administrative tasks. This class will also prepare you for your CMA certification exam. Prerequisites: proficient in reading, speaking and understanding English, HS diploma or GED, current CNA card with CNA work experience (6 months at least), proof of TB skin test, social security card, and government photo ID. You must be fully paid or have a signed payment plan agreement on file at least 7 days prior to the class start date. Cost includes the $100 exam fee. A $60 non-refundable fee is required, which includes application processing and a criminal background check. Registration is pending the results of your background check. Our 80 hour class provides instruction in direct care skills essential for employment in diverse environments, including nursing homes, hospitals, and assisted living facilites. Our competency -based is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills for both the CNA certification exam and skills test.
