Woodturning Basics gives you the opportunity to explore the basic aspects of using a wood lathe. Safety, as well as learning the parts of a lathe is essential to beginning your own projects. This course will cover the correct methods in using the spindle roughing gouge, the spindle gouge, the bowl gouge, and the parting gouge. You will have the opportunity to turn two projects in this short course that will give you the skill to begin working on your own.
